Misha- Adopted 2-14-1989
I saw her through the kennel glass on my first visit. She just sat there, pressed quietly against the glass, watching. I came back a second time, and she was still exactly like that — patient. On the third visit, the glass disappeared, and she came home with me.
Misha was the first. There was just her — teaching me that love doesn't always announce itself loudly. Sometimes it just waits for you to show up. Everything after her — every pet, every person, every piece of the life I built — started because I learned that lesson first, from a cat who never once asked me for anything except to come back.
